Late last week, Henry Waxman and the Blue Dog Democrats struck a deal to get the health reform bill out of the House Energy and Commerce Committee. The bill has now been approved by all of the committees in the House, and a floor vote is expected soon after the August recess.

Jonathon Alter offers a tongue in cheek defense of the status quo health care system, highlighting its inadequacies.

The AP runs an article debunking many of the myths and rumors surrounding health care reform, including some of the more outrageous ones such as: “The House bill ‘may start us down a treacherous path toward government-encouraged euthanasia,’ House Republican Leader John Boehner of Ohio said July 23.”

The government has no business getting involved in our health care. Our freedoms are being removed one by one. They are interfering in the free enterprise system that made our country great.
This is probably considered a "fishy" email and as in a totalitarian government it will be reported to the president. How is this possible in a free society??????
